Change the Format of NBA All-Star Game, no more East vs West - The NBA did changes to the all-star game format in 2018. There shall be no duel between star players the East vs. the West.

In the new format, the two captains from each team will select players to squad without affiliated territories. Both captains are players from the East and West gets the most votes from fans. Later the captain will choose from a total of 22 all-star players.

With this format, could have been LeBron James who represents the eastern area are one team with, for example, Kevin Durant who represents the western area. Or Stephen Curry is one all-star team with Kyrie Irving.

However, the process of election of the 24 players who will perform at the all-star game remains the same. Each region would be represented by 12 players.
