LA Lakers Retired (Two) Basketball Jersey Kobe Bryant - There would be no longer the LA Lakers players wearing numbers 8 and 24 in the future. The Club planned to phase out the two number ever worn Kobe Bryant was.

Kobe will be the 10th player the Lakers that the number is retired. Other players who earlier also retired numbers are Wilt Chamberlain (13), Elgin Baylor (22), Gail Goodrich (25), Earvin "Magic" Johnson ( 32), KareemAbdul-Jabbar (age 33), Shaquille O'Neal (34), James Worthy (42), Jerry West (44) and Jamaal Wilkes (52).

For 20 years defending the LAkers, Kobe had offered five NBA titles (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010 years), reaching the Finals MVP in 2009 and 2010, as well as the best NBA players are so 2008.
